EXPERIENCE A CHRISTMAS-THEMED, ON-SET FILM SHOOT:
Join an on-set demo in VFS’s black box studio, led by our industry Film Production faculty. Experience the collaboration involved between directors, cinematographers, and production designers on a professional film set and have the opportunity to test out equipment, have a photo op, & ask questions.
DISCOVER THE CREATIVE SYNERGY BETWEEN FILM PRODUCTION & WRITING:
In the entertainment industry, film production and writing go hand-in-hand. Stop by our Writing booth to discover the close collaboration between our Film Production and Writing for Film, Television & Games students – especially through the Writing program’s “Producing for Writers” & “Episodics” elective courses – and how this ultimately elevates the quality of student productions at VFS.
TOUR VFS’S PROP HOUSE & STUDIO SETS:
Witness our massive prop room, featuring every possible prop imaginable for our Film Production students as they dress their sets for production. Then, tour the impressive sets where our students bring their stories to life.
MEET THE HEAD OF THE FILM PROGRAM:
Meet Kat Montagu – Senior Story Editor for Crazy8s, and bestselling author of The Dreaded Curse: Screenplay Formatting for Film & Television – as she explains how VFS’s Film Production program trains aspiring filmmakers in a truly collaborative, hands-on environment to create films from pre to post-production.
